the change back to 1 week lockouts is good for sweaties but bad for everyone else.

No matter what Blizzard does you try-hard fanbois will cry. Seriously, I am not a big fan of phase 3 but no one is playing anymore because of lack of content. Everyone have BIS gear, some on several accounts. Why is it so important to hit every single lock-out? More content, more lock-outs. I like it. I am not going to care if I miss a lock-out, I like the idea that I do not have to level another character because it’s so time consuming and i only enjoy the end-game not leveling. Overall pretty hyped about doing a lot of Dungeons, raids and who knows maybe some extra fun will pop up

Not coming back to SoD until the brain dead Dev’s make shadow priest do more dps than the fcking tanks.

I mean the bosses will be instances but I feel they along with Onyxia count as a “raid”. You can crank out ony in a few minutes and that’s even for casuals. I’m stoked to have one toon to just get everything done on

I don't mind at all. I've never been keen on playing alts anyway. I always liked to invest all my time and efforts in a single character.

SOD was a nice try. Phase 4 is like a brez on main tank. Just going to check the gameplay if new raid coming and call it. Pvp going to get way worse. Huge amount of grief is coming. 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Rogue will be really good on AQ 40 trash packs. Other than that, might as well uninstall the game if you only PVP.

I don’t have a problem with the higher selection of raids to choose from personally. For people who lack self control, which, to be fair, is most wow players, (and let’s not ignore WHY they do. The subscription requirement pressures players to always be trying to get their money’s worth out of each single moment, and it’s a big reason I think it needs to go) I understand they’ll feel like they have to do all the raids each lockout, but I don’t think the game should be designed around that mindset. What I do narrow my eyes at, though, is the faster lockout reset schedule. I guess mop remix was testing this kind of change by having its raids be daily resets, but that didn’t feel overwhelming cuz the power scaling made heroic raids feel like a normal dungeon. A daily mop remix world tour didn’t take you much time. But you take a faster lockout schedule with the much more normal scaling of sod where you’re actually DOING the raids? THAT sounds overwhelming

Jerome i love your v ids! but here's my take on t he alts, vs raid l-ock out system, imo people who have multiple alts (including myself) have way to much time in the game, either that or there's not enough content on mains, I would much rather have 2 raids a week mc, aq, naxx etc so my main can do the content and steam roll it, and for the small few people who can do all of that and manage an alt, then that is good for them (myself is included in here). I'd much rather have too much on a main that have to cater to an alt

just get rid of world buffs why farm for pre raid gear when level 50 epics are as good as level 60 rare dungeon items

It is definitely going to be very very difficult not only levelling and grinding on my 6 alts, but definitely feel will only have main time for all the things for one maybe 2 alts to get to raid status with. Depending on the levelling grind and how long that takes. Will be able to get them all to 60, but doing the raid content, definitely less.

I'd rather have to much content to do then to little content to do. This doesn't mean the death of Alts, it just means our alts are alts again, not just tertiary mains.

Classics meme specs balance was literally the best part about classic. SoD is absolute shit and you're dumb if they have now sold you this 20 year old game a third time.

I never understood why they made some runes such a pain in the rear to get (thanks, Greenfield). It's just even worse trying to get them all on alts. Thumbs up for great videos.

July 11...nice...so basically 2 weeks till raid and OH WAIT...2 weeks till TWW PrePatch...RIP. Blizz is just plain dumb for having 2 of their products compete. Bad Bad Bad timing on this release. Sadface.

It’s about the journey. We hear this all the time from players. Now there is a ton of content to journey through, so everyone should be happy. You don’t have to be all sweaty and do every grind every day/week. You don’t need to be in full BiS. You can experience the journey on many alts. Players should take their time and enjoy the game. If the content makes for a good journey, then enjoy it for what it is.

Doing all 3 cata raids 11/13 h takes 2 sessions 1 2 hour and 1 1hour the next day

if theres enough things to do so that all of your time is soaked up by a single toon, then thats a GOOD THING

Yes, there is A LOT to do in P4. But having this much content will probably mean that you can go different directions for gearing. Some will go R10, some do the T0 questline, some will craft and some just farm gear in dungeons.

Make the World tour tokens account wide and rep aswell .. would be a huge improve

To be fair we dont know the level of entry for MC or the heat levels. As far as we know you can do MC as a fresh 60 and Heat 3 will be nothing but BiS needed. And if you have issues with how you might need to rep grind and do multiple world bosses a week to do higher heat levels then keep in mind then the content wasnt made for you. It would be like if a retail player who only does Raidfiner and Normal mode complained how they cant do Mythic raid on one or more characters without putting in the minimal time. And if your mindset is "I need to do every bit of content as fast and as much as I can" and call yourself a casual player, I'm sorry your not a casual player.

This is too much of a shift from the past 3 phases. Phase 1-3 was all nontent every phase was too long. Each phase 1-3 should have been 3-4 weeks at best before phase 4 and now 2 lockouts a week for raids while adding 2 new raids with world bosses, plus all the other content is too much. I'm really excited for phase 4 and the thought really has me wanting to play it. I feel like phase 4 is what I was hoping for in many ways out of SoD, it's just taken way to long to get here. And my guild died in phase 3, most of the players aren't coming back for phase 4. All my parses are high 90s so I could find a guild no problem. All that said, I'm done with SoD if they had not spent so much energy wasting our time with phase 1-3 I would be so down. And the classes play too much like retail wow, they don't have a classic feel anymore. The game is set in classic wow but it no longer feels like classic. So for now im unsubbing and ill be back when the next Seasonal server drops. FFXIV has a new expansion dropping right now, and that means new raids and a new ultimate to prog soon. Actual hard content to deal with for a change, as much as classic wow is my home, the raids put me to sleep, i need a little elden ring in my raid bosses. I raid while watching anime on my other monitor and still parse 90s ffs. Thanks for the content as always man, keep it up brother.
